In Memory of Michael Philippot

Mike and I were deeply saddened to hear the news about the sudden passing of Michael Philippot. We had the honor of meeting this very funny, entertaining and sincere man at the wedding of Noel and Coralie in July.

Michael was such a pleasure to be around and we really enjoyed getting the chance to meet him. Our thoughts and prayers are with Noel, Coralie and the whole Philippot family during this difficult time. We know you will miss him greatly.

Trash the Dress!!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing one of my brides again! Menemsha & Mike got married in May and were totally into doing a Trash the Dress session! I couldn't be happier with the results and couldn't believe what a trouper Menemsha was...I only had one shot to get it right with her in the water because it was freezing cold and I don't think she was very keen on getting hypothermia so that I could keep shooting...that and she was afraid of the sea lions that were nearby...but I do love the fact that you laughed the whole time!! You guys are awesome!

We started with a railroad track we saw on the way to the beach! Some of these shots turned out to be my favourite...even though Menemsha's mom was scared that a train was going to come ;o)

Sorry I have been very negligent in updating this blog. I have been travelling for the past month so I have not been able to keep it up to date. I am back in Vancouver and starting to work again so stay tuned ... I will start posting more pictures soon. Especially from an exciting Trash the Dress session with one of my favourite brides ;o).

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing some really fantastic people! Coral, Christine, Mike, Dean, Coralie & Noel - Thank you for being up for anything and having so much fun with whatever I threw your way! It really shows in all the photos!! Coralie, you were an absolute stunning bride! Noel, you looked pretty good yourself! Loved the cuff links! The dinner at the Brix Restaurant was AMAZING!!

Thanks for an amazing day! Look forward to seeing you when you get back from your honeymoon.
