Family Session with the Palfrey's

It turned out to be a glorious day yesterday afternoon! As I was driving to John Lawson Park in West Vancouver, I couldn't help but giggle. After having a bought of rain and fog the last few days I was nervous we would have to cancel again...but thankfully the weather turned around! We started out with the kids playing on the swings and then made our way down to the beach. Thanks everyone for a great photoshoot! You guys are a blast!

Headshots - Noel Philippot

I have photographed Noel a few times in the past for an engagement shoot...his wedding...his friend's wedding...and now for his business headshots. He is extremely easy to photograph and hang out with...always makes my job super easy! If you are looking for an Investment Advisor...check him out at RBC Dominion Securities. Thanks Noel for humoring me and meeting me out in Steveston. :). You rocked it!

Family Session with the Mason's

A few days ago I had the pleasure of photographing one of my favourite families down at Dundarave Beach in West Vancouver. It was hard to narrow it down to a few images to post...I was pretty happy with all of them, and especially this new antique finish...it ROCKS!

Thanks guys for coming out to play...Good luck picking one for your Christmas cards :)

All time favourite family image!!

Pumpkin Patch

Well my son and I were in Ontario for our great pumpkin search this year. My sister found the most amazing pumpkin patch with all kinds of mazes, rides, bikes, tractor rides, bouncey castle, etc. for the kids. What a wonderful day had by all.

Happy Halloween ... don't forget to brush those sugar bugs out!

Les & Michelle 9.27.08

A strange turn of events happened as to how I got to be a second shooter for my girlfriend Robin's brother's wedding...phew...

I have been hearing about this wedding for awhile and had hoped that I could be a part of it, but Michelle had already booked another photographer. Soooo I didn't think twice when Amber was looking for a second shooter...I told her I was available...great! Then I started talking to Robin about how I was second shooting a wedding on Saturday with another photographer...and Bingo Bongo...we realized I would indeed be at her brother's wedding! What a hoot!

Everything was just lovely...Michelle was stunning...Les was very dapper in a custom made tuxedo...the ring bearer and flower girl were absolutely adorable...the food was delicious at the Fairmont Vancouver Hotel and Dal Richards and his Big Band Orchestra were there to rock the house! It was also a pleasure working and getting to know a fellow photographer...thanks Amber for letting me come out to play.

I didn't get a chance to get many photos since I was mostly there to assist....but here are some of my shots from the day...Les & Michelle: Bet you are having a BLAST in Italy!!! I wish you many years of happiness.

Christ Cathedral Church...amazing!!
I love the way Michelle is looking at Les here...
the adorable flower girl....
the hands of a very nervous ring bearer ;)
some shots in the Vancouver Fairmont
crossing Burrard & Georgia....
love this moment... Michelle didn't want any detail shots...but I snuck one in anyways while Amber was doing her thing :)
After a short photosession at the Marine Building we started walking back to the reception.
Michelle dancing with her new father-in-law...love this...

I love the feel of movement in this photo! Them dancing to the amazing music of Big Band.

And last...the kids just about done for the day....
